For the past 20 years DAVID ARATHOON STUDIO has maintained an additional two floor studio workspace and gallery showroom. This has enabled the artist to mount showings annually and not at the whims of art dealers and the tight gallery schedules especially during popular show seasons. Events have been posted on website updates or by private cards or email invitations. International collectors as well local design groups, corporations, hotels and collectors have been invited to several successful OPEN STUDIO events, and or have been able to reserve original works via the internet. As the artist is busy painting and often out of town, only seriously interested collectors should make an appointment as the studio is not a retail outlet or for casual visits.
It is the artist’s hope to be able to meet with the trade throughout the year; art consultants, art directors, interior designers, as well private and corporate collectors, to discuss the original work for their upcoming projects. The artist had participated in out of town events throughout the past 5 years and has partaken in cultural events in Hong Kong where his original work has been exhibited and collected.
Some of the numerous showings that have recently been mounted by DAVID ARATHOON STUDIO were titled : Lilac Time; Autumn’s Gold; Where the Wild Roses Grow; Sonnet for Spring; Lilies of the Field; Gather Ye Rose Buds; Forever Autumn; Autumn's Palanquin; and most recently in Nov-Dec 2010 : The Floating World. |
